Ben was homeschooled by his parents, David and Shirley Quine, authors and founders of Cornerstone Curriculum. Cornerstone exists to help families by Building a Biblical Worldview as the foundation for their children's lives. Ben has also helped edit and co-author Fine Arts materials for Cornerstone, most notably their historical Music and Art programs, for which Ben drew on his background in music theory and piano performance.

The Worldview Library

Ben served as editor of the Worldview Library, which presents original, unabridged classic texts supplemented by student helps in a clear, easy to read format (summary headings, definitions, historical notes, etc.). These editions make great literary works easily accessible, so that the student can more readily grasp the profound ideas and concepts presented in each work.

In this three-volume collection, students are carefully guided through 2000 years of art history, including the greatest works by Da Vinci, Durer, Rembrandt, van Eyck, Michaelangelo, Vermeer, Millet, Renoir, and Cole, to name a very few.

 

Students progress from quietly observing carefully selected masterpieces in the Beginner Levels to searching for the meaning beyond the canvas in the Intermediate Levels. The
